SP Jain Global welcomes the Class of 2025 at global undergraduate orientation ceremonies

This September, SP Jain School of Global Management welcomed its new cohort of undergraduate students with orientation ceremonies across Singapore, Mumbai (via BMP*), Dubai, and Sydney. Over 200 students joined the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Data Science (BDS) programs, officially marking the beginning of their academic journey at SP Jain Global.

The Class of 2025 represents a diverse mix of nationalities, reflecting the global ethos of the school. Students this year come from China, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mauritius, Mongolia, Morocco, Nepal, Peru, South Korea, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.

Notable student backgrounds
The Class of 2025 includes students with competitive achievements in athletics, including national and district-level competitors in football, cricket, swimming, shooting, and other sports. Several have served as team captains, while one student represented the Indian Navy in rowing and cross-country competitions.

A lively discussion led by SP Jain Global’s President, senior leaders, and faculty offered parents insights into the academic journey ahead.
Beyond athletics, the cohort includes national theatre competition winners, students with international music certifications, accomplished dancers trained in both classical Indian and contemporary forms, and painters. The group also features young entrepreneurs, published writers, and a recipient of the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh's International Award.
The journey ahead
For the BBA cohort, the next four years will take them across several global cities, including Singapore, Dubai, Sydney and even London (at our sister school, SP Jain London School of Management). BDS students have begun their studies in Dubai / Sydney and will continue in Sydney for the remainder of their program.
The orientation ceremonies brought together students, families, and faculty to celebrate the beginning of this new chapter.

*Students who wish to begin their undergraduate journey in Mumbai can enrol in our Business Management Program (BMP) and transition to Year 2 of the SP Jain Global BBA in Dubai. The BMP is not accredited under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
