GO GLOBAL WITH OUR MULTI-CITY LEARNING EXPERIENCE
SP Jain’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is a 4-year full-time undergraduate program designed to craft graduates with well-developed business insights, critical thinking and decision-making skills. It is made up of general business, specialist business and liberal arts subjects. In addition to intensive academic learning, the program focuses on the development of key real-world business skills like global intelligence and personal effectiveness, giving students the confidence, knowledge and expertise required to excel in a global setting.
The program is split between our campuses in Mumbai/Singapore (Year 1), Dubai (Year 2) and Sydney (Years 3 & 4). In each city, you will have opportunities to experience diverse cultures, study international business practices, network with industry leaders and make friends from all over the world.
If you wish to start your studies at our Dubai campus or online and continue Semester 2 at our Mumbai or Singapore campus in line with our on-campus model, please write to the Admissions Team (bba@spjain.org) and the team will personally assist you with a customised fee structure, estimated living costs, visa requirements and other details.
SP Jain credits are accepted at most American/UK/European/Australian universities (depending on the university and the program you are enrolled in). If you are enrolled in a university in USA/UK/Europe and would want to avoid the risk of travelling there now, you can transfer into SP Jain to study closer to your home with an option to return to your university later.
If you have any other specific requirements, you can get in touch with the Admissions Team to learn more about the options available to you and tailor a study plan best suited to your needs.
On completing your SP Jain degree, you may be able to live and work in Australia by applying for a post-study work visa*
*As an international student, you may be able to continue to live and work in Australia temporarily, following the completion of your BBA at SP Jain. While graduating students can apply for a post-study work visa, it is not a guaranteed outcome of the program. For eligibility and more information, please visit the Australian Government’s Department of Home Affairs website.
These four years have been a massive learning experience in terms of business agility and cultural sensitivity. All the three locations – Singapore, Dubai and Sydney – are so different in the kind of marketing and business practices they adopt. There is so much to learn from living and working in these three dynamic business environments about how different segments of customers perceive different business and marketing efforts.
From the different cultural interactions to the incredible friendships you make along the way, SP Jain provides its students with the best global learning experience. It helped me build confidence in myself and develop the skills that benefit me in both my personal and professional life. During Year 1, I worked at Marking Services Incorporated (MSI) in Singapore and worked part-time at international hotel chains like Hilton, Marriott, and Hyatt. Later, I worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Mauritius, followed by my internships at Newland Global Group (NGG) and part-time at Michael Kors in Australia. After I graduated in 2020, I was able to secure a 2-month contract at a taxation company based in Brisbane, Australia. I am currently working at a broker in Australia, building real-world business experience.
The last four years redefined friendship for me. I was introduced to people of all ages who came from multiple countries – people with different stories, backgrounds, and goals. Living, studying, and working with them for all these years truly helped me become who I am today. I wasn’t just learning from the classrooms, but also from my simple, daily life – right from learning new phrases in foreign languages to cooking a dish that I hadn’t even heard of till a few months ago. I’m more aware now, more culturally sensitive, and much more empathetic.
The global experiences that I had exposed me to uncountable cultures and experiences, which made me open to things I never thought I’d experience. In Singapore, I interned at Frost & Sullivan. This was followed by an internship with Bizwit Consultants (India), where I brushed up my report writing skills. When I came to Sydney for the final leg, I was hired by ACA Research where I assisted in Market Research – from creating survey links to full reports with charts and data analysis. ACA taught me end-to-end account handling.
My journey at SP Jain has been incredible. The School offers a truly diverse experience as you get to interact with students of different nationalities. The tri-city learning model has allowed me to experience different cultures, work with people of diverse ethnicities and get invaluable insights into the business environment in each city. This has helped me tremendously during my internship with PwC Dubai. Gaining such international exposure at an undergraduate level is remarkable as this will help me dive into the corporate world after my education.
SP Jain has given me a wealth of experience that is beyond the four corners of the classroom. At a young age, I was able to meet and interact with CEOs of top companies and startups. They have inspired me to become a global leader. I am also friends with people from more than 20 different nationalities. Potential business partners in the future, and a truly global network – this is indeed a unique study experience.
During the four years I spent in Singapore, Dubai and Australia, I had great learning experiences and the opportunity to participate in many character-building and career-oriented events. It was challenging to move to a different country almost every year, but it was also rewarding. I had amazing friendships, professional relationships and, more importantly, the understanding of how business is conducted across the globe. Upon graduation, I joined Mainstream Group, one of Australia’s leading Fund Administrators as an IMA Investment Analyst. A year later, I moved to Brookfield Financial as an Investment Banking Analyst. I truly believe what I learned from SP Jain played a great part in my career path.
I was the President of the Language Club, organised charity events, built houses in Cambodia (it’s true!), joined the AIESEC Singapore, interned in China, and built lifelong friendships with my uni-mates from 16 countries. In between, I also had the opportunity to work in 2 cities – Singapore (AVIVA) and Sydney (Neo@Ogilvy), and explored the uniqueness of both Eastern and Western work cultures. On graduating, I joined Ogilvy – one of the world’s biggest media agencies – as a Performance Executive in Sydney. Two years later, I started No Brand Semarang with my husband in our home country, Indonesia. I am grateful and feel privileged to have spent 4 years of my life at SP Jain.
