At SP Jain Global, I have found constant inspiration to work hard to achieve all my goals in life and I am going to make the most of it. I refuse to believe that a problem is too big or too small for me to care about. I might be just a college student aspiring to make a difference, but I believe that attitude, determination and resilience can go a long way in making things happen and bringing about change.
Having the advantage of experiencing different cultures and business environments, and the opportunity to work with professionals from different backgrounds, I felt confident and well equipped when joining the workforce in Australia.
During the four years I spent in Singapore, Dubai and Australia, I had great learning experiences and the opportunity to participate in many character-building and career-oriented events. It was challenging to move to a different country almost every year, but it was also rewarding. I had amazing friendships, professional relationships and, more importantly, the understanding of how business is conducted across the globe.
The program did not solely focus on academic theories. It provided a very holistic approach of how things work in the practical business world. Upon graduation, I joined Mainstream Group, one of Australia’s leading Fund Administrators as an IMA Investment Analyst. A year later, I moved to Brookfield Financial as an Investment Banking Analyst. I truly believe what I learned from SP Jain Global played a great part in my career path.
SP Jain Global has given me a wealth of experience that is more than the four corners of the classroom. At a young age, I was able to meet and interact with CEOs of top companies and startups. They have inspired me to become a global leader. I am also friends with people from more than 20 different nationalities. Potential business partners in the future, and a truly global network – this is indeed a unique study experience.
I spent 2 years in Singapore and 2 years in Sydney* and completed my BBA with SP Jain Global. I had many great experiences during this time which helped me become a global citizen, always ready to be a part of any work environment.
I was the President of the Language Club, organised charity events, built houses in Cambodia (it’s true!), joined the AIESEC Singapore, interned in China, and built lifelong friendships with my uni-mates from 16 countries. In between, I also had the opportunity to work in 2 cities – Singapore (AVIVA) and Sydney (Neo@Ogilvy), and explored the uniqueness of both Eastern and Western work cultures.
On graduating, I joined Ogilvy – one of the world’s biggest media agencies – as a Performance Executive in Sydney. Two years later, I started No Brand Semarang with my husband in our home country, Indonesia. I am grateful and feel privileged to have spent 4 years of my life at SP Jain Global.
*The program has since been updated to a tri-city model, split between our campuses in Singapore/Mumbai, Dubai and Sydney

Yes, project-based learning is a key part of the MFWM program structure. In Term 1, you will undertake applied research to explore a finance-related topic in depth. In Term 2, you will complete a live capstone industry project where you apply your knowledge to real business or investment challenges in collaboration with a company in Dubai.
Throughout the year, you will also work on case studies, simulations, and collaborative assignments, ensuring you graduate with practical experience in analysing investments and developing strategies, not just theoretical knowledge.
Financial markets evolve constantly, and the curriculum is designed to keep pace. Along with core finance subjects, the program covers areas such as behavioural finance, data-driven analysis, and emerging trends in wealth management.
You will also complete applied research in the first term and a capstone industry project in the second term. By combining strong fundamentals with current industry themes, the program stays closely aligned with market realities and professional practice rather than remaining purely theoretical.
The program builds strong expertise in investment analysis, portfolio management, insurance planning, and macroeconomic evaluation. These are important skills required for careers in asset and fund management.
You also learn to assess fund performance, make strategic asset allocation decisions, and align investment strategies with client objectives. The combination of academic rigour and applied learning prepares you to step into professional roles with confidence.
SP Jain School of Global Management has dedicated Career Services teams in Singapore, Dubai, and Sydney. These teams provide career guidance, professional development support, and access to relevant job opportunities, helping you prepare for roles in finance and wealth management.
After completing the degree, you will be prepared for careers across finance, investment, and wealth management.
