BBA Student Participates in the Henry Ford Entrepreneurship Academy’s Workshop at Dubai

BBA student Ahmed Nazdry (Intake of 2016) completed a 3-day workshop at Henry Ford Entrepreneurship Academy (HFEA) on 31st January 2018. Held from 29th January, HFEA conducted a workshop that was open to selected 50 participants from the UAE. The workshop teaches future business leaders to think and act like entrepreneurs.

Understanding Digital Marketing with Sanjana Soman at the Dubai Campus

In the present scenario where every sector is moving towards digitalisation due to its impact on the worldwide marketing space, a humongous amount of leverage is being given to Online Marketing or Digital Marketing. Its widespread demand is leading to a surge in the number of digital experts, whom we can also refer as Digital Specialists. With the objective to inspire and promote the concept of Digital Marketing, Ms Sanjana Soman, a Digital Account Manager at SOCIALEYEZ, addressed the Digital Marketing & Metrics students of SP Jain Dubai on January 27th, 2018. Ms. Soman’s past work history is engraved with her achievements in the industry as she led a digital team, which went on to win many awards for its excellent work on different online campaigns.

Jessica Cox, World’s First Armless Pilot, Addresses Students at Singapore

The BBA students attended an inspirational talk by Jessica Cox, the world’s first armless pilot, at the MES Theatre at Mediacorp on 27th January 2018. The 34-year-old, who was born with a rare non-genetic birth defect, has never let her disability hold her back.

SP Jain Dubai saw Jaguars ace at Entrepreneurship - Tech Startup Weekend 2018

SP Jain Dubai observed Jaguars excel at the Entrepreneurship Weekend Challenge called ‘Entrepreneurship - Tech Startup Weekend 2018’ in its Smart Cities edition that took place from 25th to 27th January 2018. The 54-hour event focuses on students showcasing their capabilities covering the aspects of action, innovation, and education. The students while competing can take the assistance of their industrial mentors, who guide them based on their years of professional experience. This year’s event allowed Jaguars to elevate learning into application and get a clear understanding on how products transform into full-fledged businesses.

BBA Students visit Esplanade in Singapore

On 24th January 2018, the Global Learning team brought the BBA students to the famous Esplanade in Singapore. The Esplanade is one of the busiest art-centres in the world with more than 3,000 performances yearly. The students learnt about the Esplanade's unique architectural qualities, the development of the arts in Singapore and other insightful information.

On 21st January 2018, the students at our Dubai campus attended a global learning session with Diego Cerrone (Senior Insight and Strategy Director - BPN Worldwide). Gauging the UAE Financial Market & SCA – Global Learning at the Dubai Campus

On 18th January 2018, SP Jain School of Global Management hosted the Global Learning Industry Voices Series on its Dubai Campus. The session was held specially for the global business students, who were addressed by Ms. Pooja Singh, International Relations Specialist and Ali Abdulla Al Abdouli, Awareness & Education Section Head from Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA).
