Adventures and observations: Students explore Imagica World

What makes thousands of visitors spend an entire day chasing adrenaline, spectacle, and adventure? At Imagica theme park, students from the Master of Applied Finance and Wealth Management (MFWM) program explored how entertainment destinations combine creativity, technology, and careful planning to deliver memorable visitor experiences. The visit offered students a chance to step outside the classroom and observe how large-scale attractions operate in real time.

From the moment they entered the park, students experienced some of its most popular attractions. High-adrenaline rollercoasters such as Nitro, Deep Space, and Gold Rush quickly became highlights of the day.

The power of storytelling and technology

The experience continued with immersive rides like Mr India, Salimgarh, and Alibaba aur Chaalis Chorr, where storytelling, themed environments, and visual effects transport visitors into imaginative worlds. Simulation-based attractions such as I for India, a flying theatre experience, and Wrath of the Gods demonstrated how motion technology and cinematic visuals can create engaging, multi-sensory experiences.

Students also explored the park’s Snow Park, where simulated winter activities offered a refreshing contrast to the outdoor thrills. The experience added another dimension to the visit, showing how varied attractions cater to diverse visitor interests.

Looking beyond the rides

Beyond the excitement, this visit offered insights into how large entertainment venues manage thousands of visitors each day. Systems such as express passes, ride scheduling, and crowd flow planning help ensure that guests can enjoy multiple attractions while maintaining a smooth and organised park experience.

Learning outside the classroom

For the MFWM cohort, this visit demonstrated that valuable learning can happen outside traditional academic spaces. Alongside the excitement of the rides, students observed how creativity, technology, and operational planning combine to create experiences that are both engaging for visitors and sustainable for businesses.
