Grab is a Singapore-based company that offers ride-hailing, ride-sharing, food delivery service and logistics services through its app, which operates in Singapore and neighbouring Southeast Asian nations including Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, and Cambodia.

After hosting successful chapters of the IT Management Conclave 2018 in Singapore (5th October 2018) and Dubai (24th October 2018), SP Jain School of Global Management organised the event at its Mumbai campus on 16th November 2018 in partnership with CNBC TV18, one of India’s leading business news channels. With a theme on ‘Leadership and Governance in the Digital Age: Building Successful Digital Enterprises’, the conclave focused on understanding the qualities essential for a digital leader, key challenges of digital governance faced by organisations and the critical factors for building successful digital enterprises. Results of SP Jain’s IT Management Conclave 2018 Industry Survey, led by Dr. Karippur Nanda Kumar, Associate Professor and Area Head - IT at SP Jain, were also presented at the event which was attended by senior business leaders and industry players.

Having the pleasure of hosting 45 guests at the Singapore campus, the evening had two key speakers – Mr. Mustafa Rasheed, Project Head at SME Centre@Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) and current SP Jain Executive MBA (EMBA) student, and Mr. Priveen Raj Naidu, CEO at Reapra Aviation Partners.

SP Jain School of Global Management’s undergraduate business students made a visit to the Dubai Future Accelerators (DFA) on 4th November 2018. DFA is one of the initiatives launched by the Dubai Future Foundation which attracts the world’s thinkers and innovators. It is an intensive 12-week program in which participants work closely with industry experts, mentors and the government of Dubai to create breakthrough solutions for the world’s most pressing challenges through the use of cutting-edge technologies.
