EMBA Alumni Insights: Mastering the Entrepreneurial Journey

 

The Executive MBA (EMBA) team recently hosted an online event for its students, featuring esteemed alumni who shared their entrepreneurial journeys. The event, titled 'The Journey: Being an Entrepreneur,' took place on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Over 115 EMBA students from the Middle East Online and Dubai On-campus Face-to-Face Batches participated in this enriching experience.

The Executive MBA (EMBA) team recently hosted an online event for its students, featuring esteemed alumni who shared their entrepreneurial journeys. The event, titled 'The Journey: Being an Entrepreneur,' took place on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Over 115 EMBA students from the Middle East Online and Dubai On-campus Face-to-Face Batches participated in this enriching experience.

The event had 4 distinguished alumni who have made significant strides in the world of entrepreneurship: Mr Navin Narayan (Dubai B 01): CEO and Owner of Acme, Dr Atul Anant Aundhekar (Dubai B 09): Founder of A3 Healthtech, Ms Tejasa Purandare (ME OL B 02): Executive Director and CEO of Cosign India Pvt Ltd and Mr Ashutosh Kumar (Dubai B 08): Owner of Vision and Style Optical LLC.

Each of these accomplished individuals took the stage to share their personal experiences, offering invaluable insights into the world of entrepreneurship. The session began with each presenter speaking for approximately 20 minutes, followed by a lively Q&A session facilitated by current EMBA student Sankaranarayanan (Batch Leader - ME 07).

Dean Gary offered a warm greeting to the alumni, expressing his admiration for their outstanding achievements. He emphasised the significance of the occasion, highlighting the impressive accomplishments of these alumni who once walked the same academic halls.

Throughout their presentations, the alumni emphasised several key lessons and principles they had learned on their entrepreneurial journeys. They highlighted the importance of unwavering belief in the quality and value of the product or service offered by their respective businesses, the need for continuous improvement and value addition to their offerings, adapting to changing market conditions and customer preferences and the importance of fostering a culture of innovation within their organisations.

As the event drew close, Dr. Monica thanked the alumni for generously sharing their time and insights. She commended them for their entrepreneurial spirit and growing ventures. Ms. Parmita also extended her thanks to the alumni and the students, underscoring the importance of such sessions as critical components of the learning experience at EMBA.

The event served as an inspiring platform for the students to gain valuable insights into entrepreneurship from accomplished alumni.
