For students of the Master of Applied Finance and Wealth Management (MFWM), this became a key takeaway from a guest session with Gaurav Dwivedi, Head of Human Resources at Motilal Oswal.
The session began with a look at how wealth management is changing. Gaurav spoke about the growing focus on understanding clients, building trust, and creating long-term relationships. Drawing from his experience at Motilal Oswal, he also shared practical insights into workplace culture, professional expectations, and career growth.
One idea that stayed with the students was the power of consistency. Just as small investments can grow over time through compounding, small and consistent efforts can shape a career. Continuous learning, developing new skills, and adapting to change may seem like small steps, but over time, they can make a meaningful difference.
The session offered students a perspective that went beyond wealth management. It encouraged them to think about what they are investing in themselves today and how those choices can shape their professional journey tomorrow.
Experiences like these are an important part of the MFWM program, giving students the opportunity to connect classroom learning with practical insights from industry professionals.
