THE SP JAIN ADVANTAGE

HOW WE TEACH

As an EMBA student at SP Jain, you will be engaged and motivated using a wide variety of teaching tools. Our classes often witness a fusion of technology, innovation and global business, resulting in an impactful and real-world learning experience. Here are some examples:

CHOOSE BETWEEN TWO FLEXIBLE LEARNING FORMATS

We understand that for working professionals, deciding to return to school and pursue a degree is not easy. While immersing in an on-campus classroom environment is important to most students, many others have a schedule that demands the flexibility and adaptability of online learning.

SP Jain offers its EMBA in two unique formats, each tailored to the different needs of executives. You can choose to pursue the program in the format convenient to you.

Both formats allow you to continue your work full-time and study part-time. Regardless of the format you choose, you will graduate with the same degree – a TEQSA-accredited SP Jain Executive MBA.

PROBLEMS (MINI-PROJECTS) AT WORK

PROBLEMS (MINI-PROJECTS) AT WORK

Effective problem-solving and decision-making are critically important for all organisations. The Mini-Projects at Work (MPAW) assessments within the core and elective courses will enable students to investigate topics which are intended to result in much practical value for their employer organisation and/or themselves personally.

MULTIMEDIA BUSINESS SIMULATIONS

At SP Jain, computer-aided business simulations are used extensively in our state of-the-art Simulation Centres to enable students to practice and sharpen their real-world decision-making skills in an innovative and risk-free environment.

Examples of simulations our students have undertaken:

  • Blackstone/Celanese Finance Simulation (based on the acquisition of Celanese AG by the Blackstone Group)
  • Global Business Game Simulation (students take over an established company and discover how to take advantage of new business opportunities and increase wealth for themselves and the company’s shareholders)
  • Littlefield Technologies Simulation (a web-based discrete event simulator that challenges students to plan, implement and fine-tune business decisions in a simple but realistic goal-based environment)

GLOBAL STRATEGY IMMERSION PROJECT

GLOBAL strategy IMMERSION PROJECT

The Global Strategy Immersion Project aims to prepare EMBA students to plan, organise and collect data to analyse a global company in both a logical and fact-based way as well as in a creative and solutions-focused manner. Students analyse a global company within the strategic context of a country entry strategy. This includes recommending and justifying strategies for the company going forward in the short, medium and long term and putting these recommendations into performance metrics (Balanced Scorecard).

Examples of projects our students have undertaken:

  • Canadian Solar entering Nigeria
  • Costco entering Brazil
  • Disneyland Parks entering India
  • Tesla entering Turkey

APPLIED STRATEGIC PROJECT

The Applied Strategic Project is directed towards creating a greater understanding of the real-world corporate environment. The idea is to provide an opportunity for applying concepts in a practical context, thus influencing management practices through an investigation of an important business issue facing the organisation. The students’ endeavour is to create ‘Consultant-class’ reports to provide actionable strategic directions for an organisation.

Examples of projects our students have undertaken:

  • Blockchain in the Finance Industry - The Journey of KYC and its implications in the Private Banking Industry
  • An Empirical Study to increase the awareness and usage using Social Media and Digital Marketing for Zoom Stores
  • Jindal Poly Films’ acquisition of ExxonMobil’s BOPP Films Division
  • Predictive Model of Credit Card Default using Data Mining Techniques

YOU ASK, WE ANSWER

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

SP Jain's EMBA faculty combine academic excellence with extensive industry and consulting experience. Faculty members are carefully selected for both their subject-matter expertise and their ability to engage experienced professionals in executive-level learning.

Many have held senior leadership positions, advised organisations across industries, published research in leading journals, and continue to work closely with businesses globally. This blend of academic rigour and practical insight ensures that classroom discussions remain relevant, current, and impactful.

Yes. One of the greatest advantages of the EMBA is access to a diverse global network of professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, alumni, and industry leaders.

Students benefit from networking events, alumni engagement sessions, executive masterclasses, leadership panels, regional meetups, and collaborative classroom experiences with professionals from different industries and countries. These interactions foster valuable relationships that often extend well beyond graduation.

The SP Jain’s EMBA offers a highly personalised support ecosystem designed to help students succeed academically and professionally.

Each student is assigned a dedicated Program Coordinator and Assistant Dean who provides ongoing support throughout the 18-month program. Students also have access to faculty members, Assistant Deans, and the Student Experience team for academic guidance, career development, and administrative assistance.

Regular engagement with academic leaders, dedicated student support channels, faculty accessibility after class, course recordings, and a commitment to responding to student queries within 48 hours ensure a seamless and supportive learning experience.

We understand that professional and personal commitments can sometimes impact your study schedule. The EMBA's flexible global delivery model allows students to catch up on missed courses by attending the same course with another active batch at a later date, subject to scheduling availability.

This flexibility helps ensure continuity in learning and allows students to stay on track with their academic progress, even when work, travel, relocation, or other commitments arise. The program's global structure is specifically designed to support working professionals throughout their 18-month learning journey.
