Dr Pedram Nourani is an Assistant Professor of Finance with over a decade of international experience across Australia, New Zealand, China and Southeast Asia. His work sits at the intersection of finance, data analytics and AI, spanning financial and risk modelling, financial efficiency, FinTech and AI-enabled education. His background bridges academia and practice, combining academic leadership as Program Lead of the Finance Division at the University of Waikato with industry experience across corporate finance, financial analysis and economic advisory in both the public and private sectors. He is a CPA, a Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ) and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), with more than 35 peer-reviewed publications and over 1,400 citations.
