The financial services industry is constantly evolving, with changing markets, client expectations and new opportunities shaping the way wealth is managed. For the Master of Applied Finance and Wealth Management (MFWM) program 2026 cohort at SP Jain Global, the orientation ceremony offered an introduction to this dynamic industry and the learning journey ahead.
Students from diverse cities and academic backgrounds across India came together to begin the Master of Applied Finance and Wealth Management (MFWM) program. The orientation gave them an opportunity to meet their peers, interact with faculty and get a better understanding of what they could expect from the program.
Through a series of conversations and sessions, students heard valuable insights from faculty members and leading professionals from the financial services and wealth management industry. Ramesh Vishwanathan, Chief Executive Officer - FPSB India, and Onkarpreet Singh Jutla, Chief Investment Officer - Nuvama Private, who joined as the Chief Guest, shared their perspectives on the industry and the changing role of wealth management professionals. Their insights gave the cohort an early view of the opportunities and expectations within the field.
The orientation was also an opportunity for students to connect with one another, exchange ideas and begin building relationships with their new peers and faculty. These interactions added to the experience and gave the cohort a chance to start getting familiar with the community they would be part of at SP Jain Global.
The event marked the beginning of the MFWM 2026 cohort’s journey, bringing together academic learning, industry perspectives and new connections as they began their programme in finance and wealth management.
