Experts are urging residents to be more mindful of natural resources and celebrate 50 years of Earth Day with online activities. Emphasising on sustainability and reflecting on the action words summed up as 5Rs – Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle – universities in the UAE are reinforcing ways on how students and the academic community can give back to the planet.
