Dr Abhijit Dasgupta has over 28 years of experience in the technology sector, with a special focus on the analytics domain over the last decade. Before joining SP Jain, Dr Dasgupta was the CEO of a media analytics company based in Bengaluru and, thereafter, the co-founder and CEO of an analytics start-up based in the San Francisco Bay Area, USA.

Over the course of almost three decades, he has held numerous C-suite positions with leading organisations like Ernst & Young (Director – Consulting), Future Group (CTO and Board Member), Bennett, Coleman and Company (VP and CIO) and Tech Mahindra (Vice President), among others. He led the team that delivered Remit2India, the most widely used remittance system in India, managed the largest SAP implementation in the media vertical, and won several awards and recognition.

He is an alumnus of Presidency College, Calcutta (Economics) and Stanford University, USA (Management). He completed his PhD in Customer Experience Management from Dr RML Avadh University, India.

Professor Anshul Gupta is a data scientist, consultant, and corporate trainer with ample experience in solving real-world business problems across multiple domains. With a decade-long experience in teaching and research, he loves to connect with his students to create interesting data science algorithms. His areas of expertise and interests are in the space of developing recommendation engines, data mining and data architecture.

Dr Arindam Banerjee has edited and/or authored more than a dozen books in finance that are available on Amazon, one of the world’s leading multinational companies. His authored cases can be found at The Case Centre, a European case clearing house dedicated to advancing the case method worldwide. He has authored several research papers published in double-blind, peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus, ISI (Clarivate), ABDC, and others.

Dr Banerjee has won several awards and recognition for his contribution, including “Top 100 Leaders in Education”, “Distinguished Scholar Service Award”, “Professor of the Year – Service Award”, and more.

Dr Banerjee has completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Business Finance and holds a doctoral degree in Education.

Dr Bijal Oza is an International Psychologist and a Global Mental Health professional. She has a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with Counseling specialisation and a PhD in International Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

She has had an enriching and diverse experience as a psychologist and counselor for more than 14 years in the United States, India, and Dubai. Currently, she is working full-time as the Global Director of Counseling & Coaching Center at SP Jain School of Global Management, and teaches a full credit course on Emotional Intelligence. She also works as the Happiness Consultant for the Center of Excellence for Happiness at SP Jain and is involved in the development and implementation of initiatives and programs using the Positive Psychology and Science of Happiness principles.

Dr Oza has also ventured into the entrepreneurial space as the Lead Global Management Consultant and Emotional Intelligence expert at a global mental health consulting organisation called Cohort 22. Her research interests lie in Emotional Intelligence, Personality and Emotions, Positive Psychology, Cross-Cultural Approaches to Counseling, International & Social Psychology, and Personality Studies.

Dr Christopher Abraham has three postgraduate qualifications in HRM, Business Administration (Marketing), Labour & Administrative Law and a PhD in Business Administration (Design Thinking & Innovation). He is a Certified Design Thinker from IDEO/Stanford and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM), UK. He has 34 years of experience in management consulting, marketing and management education in India, Singapore and the UAE.

His areas of expertise are Innovation, Design Thinking, Behavioural Design, Strategy, Neuroscience of Decision Making, Future of Education, Science of Happiness, Leadership, Human Potential, Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Strategy.

A much sought-after 3-time TEDx and international keynote speaker, Dr Abraham has successfully presented at numerous global forums and conducted many consulting and executive development assignments for leading global organisations, including The World Bank, The Executive Council (Government of Dubai), Emirates Airlines, SEWA (Government of Sharjah), Aramex, DHL, Procter & Gamble, LG, Reckitt Benckiser and AW Rostamani (Nissan Auto).

Dr Marko Selaković is a manager, researcher and scholarly academic in charge of various senior roles at SP Jain School of Global Management – Dubai campus. He is a strategic management and communications professional with more than 15 years of top-level experience in Europe and the Gulf countries. He is specialised in strategic and international communications and development, stakeholder relations and crisis management.

Dr Selaković is the Head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia Office to the UAE, and has occupied positions such as Business Director of Expo 2020 Serbia and Vice-President of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Gulf Chapter.

He is the author/co-author of numerous research papers related to education, innovation, and strategic, crisis and internal communications.

Professor Nitin Patwa holds a Master of Financial Analysis & Control and a Master of Economics specialising in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics. Additionally, he holds a Postgraduate degree in Operation Research Management and Post Graduate Diplomas in Foreign Exchange & Risk Management and Computer Accounting & Auditing. He has completed several certification courses, including Competitive Strategy, Advanced Competitive Strategy, Digital Transformation, Demand Analytics, Leading Transformations, and Case Method Teaching

His areas of expertise include Business Statistics, Decision Science & Operation Research, Research Methodology, Business Analytics, Marketing Research and Applied Economics. He has more than 50 publications under his portfolio.

Ms Parmita Debnath has over 17 years of experience in Corporate and Academics, predominantly in the HR domain, working with leading multinationals, specialising in areas like Learning & Development, Talent Management, High Potential Development and Change Management.

At SP Jain, she globally heads Student Experience for all programs; she has also developed and heads a Strategic Capability Development Program called the Executive Career Acceleration Pathway (ECAP) for the Executive MBA program. She chartered the SP Jain Toastmasters Club in Dubai in 2017 and is the Founder President.

She is a doctorate student with an MBA in HR and Marketing from Amity Business School, Noida, India. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and two Post Graduate Diplomas in Personnel Management and Public Relations. She is a Certified NLP Business Practitioner (ABNLP approved), Certified Associate Leadership and Executive Coach, Advanced Diploma in NLP & Advanced Diploma in NLP Coaching.

She has co-written many case studies and has four Book Chapter Publications (Bloomsbury: New Delhi). She was awarded the ‘BIMTECH Dr G. D. Sardana Memorial Young Scholar Award’ at the International Conference on Management Cases (ICMC) in December 2020. She has contributed many articles in leading global magazines.

Dr Sadia Riaz is an established academician and innovation expert. She has demonstrated scholarly acumen, critical skills and intellectual insights to develop, conduct and deliver IT-research projects of international standards. Dr Riaz has a proven track record of increasing students' academic achievement and engagement by designing interactive modules and adopting innovative pedagogies. She specialises in disruptive innovation frameworks from academic and industry perspectives, such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain Technology, the Internet of Everything, and Immersive Technologies. Her organisational and adaptability skills have emerged from her previous role as a senior governmental policy advocate.

Dr Riaz has graduated in Information Technology with a specialisation in ERP Systems’ Requirements and Engineering and holds a doctoral degree from Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Malaysia, in Human-Computer Interaction and XD Design Heuristics.

Professor Umesh Kothari has over 25 years of rich industry experience in the UAE, USA, and India. He has helped several organisations achieve their strategic, marketing goals supported by insights and analytics. Key organisations worked for are Nike, Frost & Sullivan, Pepsi Cola, Nielsen, and Union National Bank (now ADCB). Prof Kothari has been associated with SP Jain since 2005 and teaches the school's undergraduate and postgraduate cohorts at the Dubai, Singapore, and Mumbai campuses. His areas of expertise are marketing, strategic marketing, research methodology, brand management, big data analysis, and statistics. He has authored various papers and been a panel member at webinars and international conferences.

He is a Team Leader with Dubai Quality Awards, assessing organisations in Business Excellence. He has been recognised by the Dubai Quality Group as an industry best practice for institutionalising a customer experience service award for a local bank.

Prof Kothari has a Master of Management from Willamette University, USA, and a Master of Commerce from Mumbai University, India.

Dr Vaidyanathan Jayaraman is the Dean of Undergraduate Programs and a Distinguished Professor at SP Jain School of Global Management. He oversees the undergraduate programs across the school's campuses in Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore and Sydney. Prior to taking on this role, Dr Jayaraman was the Principal and Associate Dean at Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai, India. Before joining Great Lakes, he was a tenured senior faculty at the School of Business Administration, University of Miami, USA, where he taught Supply Chain Operations and Analytics.

He completed his MS in Mathematical Sciences and his MBA in Management and Information Technology from the University of Akron, his MS in Operations Research and his PhD in Operations and Supply Chain Management from The Ohio State University, USA.

In addition to his extensive consulting engagement with many Fortune 100 companies, he has more than 25 years of teaching (Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Executive MBA and PhD) and research experience, and several years of experience in teaching Executive Education for various companies. He has received numerous awards in teaching and research. He has published more than 100 research articles and his work in the area of Supply Chains and Service Operations has been heavily cited by researchers and practitioners. He has co-authored three books and is writing a fourth book in the area of Supply Chain Analytics.
